Still trying to find neon pink adore pleasers without buying them online. I know they're hiding from me somewhere in Hollywood. I will find them! And they're not going higher than 6 1/2.

Wow, so glad I asked! Thank you guys.

Anyone ever done that in a class? Hahahaha! Its SO embarrassing. No one said anything, but I'm pretty sure they were laughing/disgusted on the inside.

Twisted Ballerina and Iron X.
At the moment I don't possess any of the upper body or core strength to achieve either. But my strength increases all the time, I'm losing weight, so I'm getting lighter to lift myself for longer periods of time. I just got my split grip recently. So, slowly but surely the tools to get these moves are coming along.

Ok, I finally had the time to go and work on this. And I don't think I did anything correctly. I don't think I understand your instructions.
You said I need to be sure the X and the hex line up. I'm sorry sounds stupid, but I don't know what that means exactly.
The collar is all the way in the base. But, I can't be 100% sure its saying. Every now and then I notice the X is in a different place then when it started. All three screws are tight.

@Kate92
Sorry lol, was I rambling again? I tend to do that when trying to expand a point. But as far as the documentary. Not even sure if she's done. But you can see her 12 minute trailer.

I'd encountered something similar to this. But it wasn't a park, it was Hollywood Blvd. I was working on a film shoot and the director had two xtages in front of the Chinese Grauman Theatre for her documentary about pole fitness and the history (At the time, I'd only be poling for less than a couple months) The point of doing this was to interview passing tourists and the like and ask them their opinions on pole dancing and if they knew the difference between stripping and pole fitness. Of course, EVERYONE interviewed pretty much said the same thing "its exotic dancing" "stripping" All that jazz. The only time I got offended was one woman who passed by our set, she said it was disgusting. And, the dancers (including the director and myself) were on the stages, we did a few tricks, nothing too over the top. But all of us were fully clothed, we did nothing scandalous, or erotic. I did a fireman spin repeatedly. Only trick I knew at the time 🙂

Common pole injury. Don't like it either. Mine first got sore on Jan. 5th. i remember the day exactly because I took a class that day. It was a little sore after the class, which is normal. But then the next day felt like something repeatedly hit my wrist with bricks.
Still hurts occasionally. But thats because I'm stubborn and continue to pole practice and do push ups. So me bad. Don't do that. I mainly just do ice packs.
I hope you feel better soon 🙂

Thank you!
I feel a little stupid. Some of the terminology is still new to me, but I think I understand all of this. Helped out with the x joint issue I'm having too. I think its stripped where the hex key fits in.
So, it looks like the issue I'm having, based on this is the X needs to be lined up before I try to tighten the screws. I'll give it a try. 🙂

I leave it up.
And the X I've started to notice is never in the same place after each practice. I've ignored this despite thinking it wasn't good, because retightening has kept the pole stationary so far.
The screws on the collar, constantly need to be retightened as I've mentioned. And today, I just noticed there's a small gap between the collar and the base. I wasn't sure how to move it down.
I would've gone through my instruction manual, but I got my second hand, so the instructions page I do have, is actually for a regular stage, not the stage lite.

Name: Alexandria

Stage: Name: Don't have one 🙁
Spin/Static: Static Forever

Fave Pole Move: Carousel V

How you got into pole dancing: My orientation day at film school, there was a girl there who introduced herself and told everyone she was a pole dancer. She made sure to say it was NOT stripping. We became friends. It was still about a year after I met her before I found out she taught an intro class. So, I decided to learn with the intention of losing weight in a fun way. Then, after doing it, I said 'screw just losing weight! This is fun!' But even so, to this day, I've lost 30 lbs from pole dancing. 🙂
How I found out about StudioVeena: When I got my first 50mm xpole, I got the free lessons postcard. But I kind of ignored it and decided, 'eh, I can do this later.' Then one day I was browsing through youtube pole videos and stumbled across Veena's. I was like 'that name is familiar.' Then I remembered the postcard and was like 'holy crap! Why did I ignore this?! She's amazing!'
If you were a pair of panties, what would you be? Boyshorts definitely. Why? Because they hide just enough and show off just the right amount. Especially 'cheeky' boyshorts *wink*
