Be very careful about puchasing x-pole merchandise on e-bay. I know its probably cheaper but Ive also heard some of it can be fake and you dont want to jeopardise your lovely new x-pole!!
YES! Be careful. I ordered mine from a buyer called Xpoleus. Totally legit pieces.

So is hotlisting "favoriting" or "reporting"?? There are really only those 2 options when watching videos. Those and "share" but that would just bring up an html code. It IS a very exciting thing!!! I remember that feeling. Every time i heard a car outside I’d run to the window to see if it was the UPS man, lol. I was the same way when I was waiting for my new pole (I dont know who ordered it from but I got my newest pole thru Veena and it only took 3 days. Woot!!!). Such an exciting thing, but no one really understands that but people who pole so dont be discouraged if your bf doest share your excitement, lol.

I have both a 50mm Chrome & a 45mm Titanium Gold. I love them both! TG is grippier but is best on spin mode. It also hurts my hands more than the Chrome but that will pass as I adjust to it (I just got my TG a few days ago). As far as the width goes, the 45mm is awesome in the fact that I can wrap my hands almost completely around the pole…. but it also leaves less pole space to grip on your thighs and such, but i havent found that to be a big problem. 45mm is best for petite girls though so if you are on the bigger/taller side you would probably be best with 50mm.

When in doubt just go for the basic 50mm Chrome. Its a great pole. You really cant go wrong with it.I have my pole on Carpet, and it is great. No problems there.

You can order extension pieces on Ebay (the cheapest way to go), i had to do that with my Chrome when I moved into my new apartment. My ceilings were too tall and i had to order an extra piece. Just make sure you measure how long you need so you dont end up getting one thats too short or too long (like i did… had to order 3 times, LOL). The only piece with a lip I can think of is possibly the bottom pole piece that attaches to the base (my new pole I got has this)… but if its hollow & very thin then yes it is the cover for the extender on the top pole piece and is optional to use (i personally dont use it).

I had that problem too, first starting. The constant sweaty hands is more of a nervous type response (i think so anyway)… it will get better as you get comfortable doing moves. Thats how my body worked at least, its different for everyone! You can also try grip aids if you want to go that route. There is a thread about it in one of the forum sections, cant think which one off hand. Sorry. But if you would rather go au natural just keep a hand towel near by and just keep wiping them off.
As far as the pole burn goes, your skin will adjust to it, it cant really be helped. Its a part of learning. It WILL get better though, promise! Just work thru it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumright.gif -

Awww Glitter! Dont get yourself down about this. Unfortunately, like others said, the entertainment industry is very based on looks and weight and blah blah blah. It sucks but its fact. As to why there were other bigger girls working there, perhaps they have been working there a long time, or are friends with the manager, or a million different things. Try not to let it get into your self esteem. If you want to lost weight or tone up, great! But do it for YOU, otherwise its not gonna stick or you are going to be incredibly unhappy doing it. You are beautiful just the way you are and a talented pole dancer. Anywhere would be LUCKY to have you. *hugs*
