Please use the search box to search for twisted grip. It is, physiologically, a very dangerous move and not suited for most people. There are a tremendous amount of injuries related to it and Veena even refuses to teach it. You only increase the risk inherent in this move if you need momentum to get into it.

What do you mean by regress?

If you are on a competition track right now you will want to work on whatever type of pole the competition uses whether thats powder coat, chrome or brass.

However if you are not currently on a competition track you will want to work on whatever pole you work best with so that you can enjoy your pole time and perfect your moves.

I know its not possible for everyone but I do my workout (not pole 😛 ) in the morning before starting work then take a 15 minute nap in the afternoon. Leaves me refreshed and full of energy and gives me quicker recovery.

I’m going to suggest that if we want to discuss the Aurelian pole we start a different thread. This thread is about a pole that is cost efficient which the Aurelian pole does not really fit into when shipping to the US.

Authorized X-Pole sellers are not allowed to sell poles below X-Poles list price. If the pole costs less than it does anywhere else, they are not authorized and you cannot know what you are receiving.

March 31, 2014 at 9:51 pm in reply to: BEWARE SCAM ONLINE POLE DANCE LESSONS

I am going to lock this thread.

Just to clarify the reason, every time it pops up on the front of the site it looks like its saying the online pole dance lessons are a scam, unless someone takes the time to dig into the thread. Which ends up hurting us for the day.

I will leave this in our forums so that it is indexed for reference but you will no longer be able to respond.

It shouldn’t be an upload issue. Perhaps a problem with your browser. Have you tried a different browser?

March 25, 2014 at 5:32 pm in reply to: tax write offs?

Really talk to a tax professional. It’s surprising to many people what you can write off and what you can’t.

Did you know you can’t deduct pole clothes you use for teaching class? Very few categories of clothing are deductible, things like scrubs and fireman uniforms are deductible while athletic clothing is not.

Most education is not deductible, including certifications.

Then there are things like the fact that you can write off a portion of your phone bill if you use it to contact people for class or other work related activities.

These subtleties are why you need to talk to a tax professional about this.

March 21, 2014 at 6:04 pm in reply to: parents; HOW ARE BABIES MADE

Miss Anthrope, the potential for it to be about sex is the problem. You never know which direction a conversation with a child will go and at what point you’ll have to commit to an answer or backpedal. You also can not know where any child is in this conversation with their parents. Too many unknowns with children makes this dangerous ground.

I will reiterate, as a parent, I would certainly hope anyone would refer my child to me rather than even attempting to answer. I think most parents would STRONGLY agree with me.
