If you have windows your best options are using Chrome with the Chromecast or to stream directly to an Xbox.
My personal favorite is the Apple ecosystem because of the multitude of ways to effectively stream any content. I can stream from my laptop, iPhone, iPod or iPad to my apple TV with the press of a button.
The windows/android world is getting a bit better but its not quite as integrated as the Cupertino progeny.

That’s easy then. For iPads you can get iMovie, its free, easy and powerful. It’s a better solution than most of the easy stuff on a PC.
