August 21, 2013 at 12:03 pm in reply to: Looking For A Photo Editing Program

I use paper like this http://www.amazon.com/Savage-Seamless-Background-Paper-yards/dp/B001196MG0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1377103740&sr=8-3&keywords=photo+backdrop+paper

Paper works excellent because it doesn't have wrinkles and it creates a very uniform background.  It can be hung from nearly anything from a set of stands to a curtain rod.

The uniformity makes editing afterwards very easy and if you are careful 107 inches should be fine for your legs, Veena only rarely ends up off the edge of the paper and she has sexy mile long legs.

As to editing the photos Photoshop is the bomb-diggety but is out of most people's budget, I only have it as I can deduct it as a business expense.  The next best is probably something like GIMP which is free.

If Bob's camera supports wireless flashes make sure you are back lighting with a couple flashes shooting into the background from the sides.  This will give you a nice shadow free background and keep your edges clean so you don't get the really defined edge you can get cutting away a shadow.

As to angles, try and keep your move parallel to the paper to get the best result, your photographer can't be moving around while you are trying to hold a move.  Have Bob focus on your midsection for a very clean standard look or shoot from a lower anle to get more drama.

    Good luck!!!!

Due to the Economics of pole studio business many do not have dedicated receptionists or assistants.  Your best bet is to network inside the studios.  Visit the ones local to you, take classes etc…

Stacy – are you a military family? Sometimes APO shipping can be very expensive. The most you could have paid for an Xpole is 389 domestic shipping is only 40 so a grand total of 429.

Staci123 – Make sure you watch this video.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8YW4HEd3gQ

The big things with the StudioVeena pole are how fast you can set the pole up and how fast you can go from static to spin and back.  It is the most convenient pole out there.

Platinum Stages can go from static to spin quickly but can't go back to static without stopping and inserting a pin.  When dancing on an Xpole you have to choose static or spin before the dance because it uses a locking screw.

Setup on any other pole is at least a several minute process.  The StudioVeena Pole goes up and comes down in seconds.  This is an important consideration as people are more apt to exercise when you don't have to spend time setting up your equipment.

The first thing to try is to visit http://www.flash.com and reinstalling Adobe Flash.  99% of the time a new computer where the videos don't show up simply needs flash installed or reinstalled.  Please let me know if this works.

Once a child is no longer, legally, your responsibility, the best you can hope for is to have a relationship with them.  Just like a friend, with a potentially dangerous relationship or partaking in destructive behaviors, there is nothing you can "do" except to be there.  If your fears do play out your child will need your support, and if they don't she's gonna need you close in order that she can say "I told you so".

Little Mynx and the StudioVeena pole aren't permanent.  In fact the beauty is that they come down and go up in seconds.  No other pole can boast that kind of convenience.  They require small mount to be placed on the ceiling, but should you ever need to take it down there is only 1 screw hole that is easily covered with a small dab of spackle.

The SV pole can go to 10 feet, if you buy the 9 to 10 footer.  It can also be custom cut to fit any one foot range under ten feet.

I would highly suggest trying Veena's lessons found by clicking the lessons link at the top of the page.  They have moves organized by difficulty in a progression that lets you build strength and skill to move on to each successive move.  Additionally she has a tremendous 30 day take off program that will get you moving forward quickly with a plan for success.

I have to chime in quickly here and reiterate something that PlatinumAni touched on, in the hopes of keeping the conversation constructive.  Making a statement that we are all the same based on some demographic characteristic whether it be sex or skin color or anything else, has the potential to be quite offensive and I would assume I don't have to explain why.

I would like to say I have had the privilege of getting to know many, many couples in our travels around the country and there is most certainly many different approaches to sexuality and what everyone is really comfortable with and none of them are wrong.  Making the statement that all men are categorically X and all women are categorically Y denies the amazing diversity of beliefs that allows mankind to fill the broad social spectrum it does.

The StudioVeena Pole is a great pole for beginners.

    – The finish provides a unique grip experience that gives you alot of control and for most people better grip than a metal finish.

    – The spin lock is a unique one touch system that is more convenient than a hex nut or a removable pin.

    – Install takes about as long as it takes to setup most tension mounted poles and once the pole is installed it can be setup and removed in seconds making it much easier to use your pole space as something else like a living room 🙂

LiarInSexyAttire, the mechanics of the StudioVeena Pole are different than an X-Pole so it will feel different, but its based on a design proven longer than any other pole on the market.  Lil Mynx currently handles our technical support, if you have any questions regarding your installation I would encourage you to call them at 1-877-700-7467.

June 19, 2013 at 9:04 pm in reply to: Cannot afford x-pole or lil mynx. Suggestions?

The rule of thumb is that "The most expensive pole is a cheap pole"

The general reasoning goes like this:

    1) Cheap poles tend to be dangerous.  Youtube will fill your dreams with horror stories if you look.  You don't want to have a $3000 emergency room trip because of a $150 pole.

    2) Cheap poles have no resale value if you stop poling.  However, a well cared for Lil Mynx, X-Pole or Platinum Stages will often fetch nearly what you paid for it.  You might lose $40 but with a cheap pole you'll lose all your purchase price.

    3) If you really like this pole thing you'll want to purchase a good pole anyway then you've paid for two poles, the cheap one and the good one.
