Based on several factors including but not limited to the content of responses, IP address and registration date we decided that ADawn86 was not providing valid information for this topic.

I can't stress enough that this is not a judgement call regarding the pole that she espoused but instead a reasonable assumption that she was a paid representative of the pole manufacturer.

The removable Lil Mynx pole can only go up to ten feet.

X-Perts don't have screws in the dome and that is not an X-Pole X on the base.

Can we please tone down the posts here.  This topic could be informative to many people  in the community but inflammatory and confrontational posts decrease the value.  Rational discussion is find but it is completely unnecessary to call people stupid:

"im sorry that people seem to think that they know more than they do"

This isn't an attack on any one person, that was simply the most readily available quote.

Please tone down the heat and provide the information you have as well as your personal experiences so that everyone who reads this forum can benefit.

    Thank-you all for your understanding.

It is called powdercoating because it is applied as a powder then baked which creates a smoothe, durable finish.  The finish is so durable that it is how they paint motorcycle frames and its even commonly used on playground equipment.  Powdercoating tends to be super grippy for most people and will maintain a relatively consistent grip under varying conditions.

Chrome finishes are also very durable but tend to be much less grippy.  The grip on metal finishes will vary widely depending on temperature, humidity and your body chemistry the day you are dancing.

In the end though, as long as you go with a major manufacturer you will receive a quality pole.

The StudioVeena Pole is powdercoated which provides a more consistent grip experience when compared to finishes such as chrome, stainless and brass.  This is the reason we chose to sell a powdercoated pole.

Property condition rules are generally tied to mortgages, insurance, and rental law.

In general if you own and occupy a home you can do with it as you will.  In short, if you want to allow your pipes to freeze and you are not endangering anyone but yourself that is your decision.

Your rights as a tenant and your friends responsibilities as a landlord derive almost entirely from a properly executed lease.  Without this lease, in most states, you are a friend sharing a house and helping with expenses.
