The SV pole can go to 10 feet, if you buy the 9 to 10 footer. It can also be custom cut to fit any one foot range under ten feet.

I would highly suggest trying Veena's lessons found by clicking the lessons link at the top of the page. They have moves organized by difficulty in a progression that lets you build strength and skill to move on to each successive move. Additionally she has a tremendous 30 day take off program that will get you moving forward quickly with a plan for success.

I have to chime in quickly here and reiterate something that PlatinumAni touched on, in the hopes of keeping the conversation constructive. Making a statement that we are all the same based on some demographic characteristic whether it be sex or skin color or anything else, has the potential to be quite offensive and I would assume I don't have to explain why.
I would like to say I have had the privilege of getting to know many, many couples in our travels around the country and there is most certainly many different approaches to sexuality and what everyone is really comfortable with and none of them are wrong. Making the statement that all men are categorically X and all women are categorically Y denies the amazing diversity of beliefs that allows mankind to fill the broad social spectrum it does.

The StudioVeena Pole is a great pole for beginners.
– The finish provides a unique grip experience that gives you alot of control and for most people better grip than a metal finish.
– The spin lock is a unique one touch system that is more convenient than a hex nut or a removable pin.
– Install takes about as long as it takes to setup most tension mounted poles and once the pole is installed it can be setup and removed in seconds making it much easier to use your pole space as something else like a living room 🙂

LiarInSexyAttire, the mechanics of the StudioVeena Pole are different than an X-Pole so it will feel different, but its based on a design proven longer than any other pole on the market. Lil Mynx currently handles our technical support, if you have any questions regarding your installation I would encourage you to call them at 1-877-700-7467.

AdministratorJune 19, 2013 at 9:04 pm in reply to: Cannot afford x-pole or lil mynx. Suggestions? The rule of thumb is that "The most expensive pole is a cheap pole"
The general reasoning goes like this:
1) Cheap poles tend to be dangerous. Youtube will fill your dreams with horror stories if you look. You don't want to have a $3000 emergency room trip because of a $150 pole.
2) Cheap poles have no resale value if you stop poling. However, a well cared for Lil Mynx, X-Pole or Platinum Stages will often fetch nearly what you paid for it. You might lose $40 but with a cheap pole you'll lose all your purchase price.
3) If you really like this pole thing you'll want to purchase a good pole anyway then you've paid for two poles, the cheap one and the good one.

I will second the Golden Nugget, the only problem with it is that its almost as pricey as staying on the Strip. If economy is important check out the 4 queens, binions, the Fremont, the Main Street or The D.
I highly recomend renting a car. You can generally find one at Fox Rent A Car for about12-15 dollars a day. It's way cheaper than cabbing anywhere, parking is free on the strip, and the strip is big. Plus if you want to get off strip and try some of the nationally reknowned restaraunts like Hash House A-Go-Go its essential.

As a previously frequent Las Vegas visitor and now resident let me suggest Fremont Street. The only drawback is you will need to bus, carpool or taxi to the Strip, however the positives are many.
Fremont Street is classic Vegas. Starting with the inexpensive hotel rooms that can generally be had for under $30/night at fun casinos like the 4 Queens not to mention the inexpensive food. This is where the name Glitter Gulch was born to refer to all the flashing lights that Vegas is known for. Fremont Street is utterly walkable and there are three bandshells that have live bands playing most nights. There are street shows and lots of souvenir vendors. A Vegas keychain will probably cost you $20 on the strip but on Fremont street you can get 10 keychains for $10. At night you will be able to enjoy the Fremont street experience which is a three block long video screen that plays custom designed music videos every hour on the hour. Just my two cents.
