I apologize for this.  It is on the end of the chat provider and not us.  We are working with them to resolve this.

You can actually interchange the poles on both stage poles.  We have a 50mm and 45mm for our X-Stage.

Depending on your itinerary it may be less expensive and less of a hassle to simply ship your pole to your final destination.  Generally this will cost about $50-$75 and will save you lugging your pole around the airport and drawing the ire of security.

This is a known issue that I'm working on as I have time.  What we know so far is that there seems to be some large policy changes in the functionality of browsers and email clients.  This happens to me on other sites where it didn't used to as well.

May 6, 2013 at 10:05 am in reply to: Im telllinnn!! Who broke the video uploader?

We are talking about two different issues here.  If you you are not seeing the full uploader  there is a problem with flash on your computer which can be caused by several things including but not limited to:

    1) Not having flash
    2) Your flash component is broken
    3) You are on a portable device that doesn't have or doesn't allow flash

If you are getting an IO error it is typicall one of three things:

    1) Flash does not have sufficient access to your file system (this can happen after an upgrade to your anti-virus software or browser)
    2) There is some extreme unreliability in your internet connection (If latency between packets is too high the upload will break)
    3) Our temp filesystem is full (I just verified this is not the case)
    4) Your particular file is not properly formatted (since you've tried multiple formats this is highly unlikely)

My guess is 1 or 2 are your most likely culprits.  You could try uploading from a different location or even different computer.

In the end video is a fickle mistress and oftentimes just waiting fixes it.  I can't tell you how many times we've had an issue with Youtube that simply fixes itself later on with no effort on our part or that of Youtube.

Just to clarify, I was using the term loser in a win/lose context.  You win if something positive comes out of the situation.  You lose if all it does is take your time, create stress and make relationships with those around you harder.

"Just the way they are" is medicine for you not protection for them.  People, as a general rule, do not change.  By accepting that this is "Just the way they are" you can move on with your life and do something productive rather than concern yourself with one poisonous personality.

Look how much time, and mental space this person has taken from you.  Do you think that you had the same effect on them? So who is the loser?

As people we have to learn to cut our losses and move on.  Fighting unwinnable fights just hurts us.

Here is an explanation of powder coating http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powder_coating

Powder coating is a process involving applying the paint product then heating it to allow it to flow, seal and cure.  It is one of the most durable finishes around which is why it is chosen for applications such as motorcycle frames.

zpowerful for Canadian shipping just order the pole as normal and I will then send you an invoice for an additional $55 to cover the additional shipping cost.

I'm sure X-Pole will be there.  Have you contacted them to see if they could have an extra pole brought along?

Just to clarify, my understanding after quite an extensive talk with Clive from X-Pole is that their poles are solid brass.  They are not lined.  Brass is an alloy that will be softer or harder plus have varying grip properties depending on the formulation of brass and copper.
