PayPal is our only payment method currently.  In most countries they will give you the option to pay without creating an account and simply entering a credit card number.

January 26, 2012 at 4:03 pm in reply to: X-Pole X-Pert Hex Screw Help

I believe there may be a couple different versions of the X-Pert adjuster, I have attached a picture of the current one to my profile you can view it here https://www.studioveena.com/photos/view_photo/4f21cc1c-b7cc-432a-a3c6-17130ac37250

In the picture you will see just above the threads that lock the adjuster cover in place the hex nuts that lock the adjuster bolt.  While only one is visible there are three, one for each flat surface of the adjuster bolt.  If you do not tighten them over the flat areas of the bolt they will in fact stick out of the pole, you also risk damaging the threads of the adjuster rod so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tighten them over the flat areas as the instructions say.

Just below the adjuster bolt you will see a set of smaller hex nuts that lock the adjuster into the bottom of the pole.  NEVER NEVER NEVER remove these unless you have need to replace the adjuster rod.

Finally, covered by the open adjuster cover, in this picture and at the very bottom of the pole are two locking hex nuts that are responsible for putting the pole in spin or locking it in static.  These should always be tightened when the nuts are aligned with the X's on the floor plate.

@ – shebang cannot see the lessons, she is not paying for them, has never payed for them and cannot see or use them.  Which is why it is confusing to me that she would be so aggressive regarding this topic.

@shebangs – The lessons that are on this site represent thousands of hours of work in development, production, and refinement.  Veena tends to add lessons seasonally as we have time to record and produce them and our current library has more content than any DVD set you could buy.

We will not ever commit to a timeline for delivery of lessons as we stand on the value of our product as it is and don't try to sell it based on future plans that may or may not be realized.

I do take extreme offense to your assertion that Veena should spend more time making lessons and less time expressing her creativity.  Veena is a whole person, and the great majority of her time is spent nurturing people in one way or another.  Four children and over thirty-thousand website members would be emotionally draining for anyone yet Veena handles it with great aplomb.  She, like anyone, needs a creative outlet to maintain her motivation in all other areas of life.

I'm also unsure why a non-paying member would be so disgruntled over our lack of response on this topic and why said non-paying member would be seemingly upset that Veena takes some time to express herself.  I'm also unsure why you would take the time to quite blatantly attack members of our site who have never shown anything but love and support for the community as a whole.

A very common, mistake in uploading windows movie maker files is to upload what is called the project file.  The project file doesn't contain any actual video but instead contains all.  In order to get an uploadable file you have to export in either AVI or WMV and upload that file.

@PaulettePoles – You, most likely, have some sort of infection or malware in your machine that is causing this problem.  I can most certainly assure you that there is no danger in using our site.

No virus software is perfect, in fact there are many ways for malware to bypass your protection.

Our system automatically crops all images to a square.  By cropping your photo so the face is a little closer to center before uploading will help keep more of your face in the photo.

January 11, 2012 at 3:27 pm in reply to: Camera for small room

Your biggest consideration in a small room will be to have as wide an angle as possible.  Most modern point and shoot cameras will offer a fairly wide angle while also being economical.  If you decide to go the camcorder route look for small threads inside the bezel surrounding the lens, this will indicate that you should be able to order a wide-angle adapter for the camera.
