@PaytonPlays – Please remember that center of gravity changes as a poler moves on the pole.  Also if you did understand physics you would know that it is reasonably possible to expect a dancer to exert an outward force exponentially larger than my body weight.  Also notice that the force I exerted was a single swing of the leg and not throwing my bodyweight into it.

Also ouch on the fat thing, have we descended into blatant name-calling here?

To All – This is nothing to worry about, we have it under control.  This is not a virus, nor is it dangerous.  It is simply annoying.

New Year's is a common time for spammers to spread their garbage on the internet and they have taken a particular interest in us this year.  I've spent the day devising new rulesets and functionality in the site to keep these people from dumping their garbage here.

In the mean time, if you happen to see something that looks iffy please feel free to email me directly.  The more information I have the better effort I can put forth to keep these guys out.

The easiest way to upload a video to here is from your computer.  If you can copy the video to your computer you can upload from there.  Phone support for video uploads is spotty at best.

@PaytonPlays – That video was done at a time when we were finding people in the pole community to interview.  We did one interview a month, and we did not accept any payment for any interview.  We paid full price for that pole as well.  We interviewed Heidi and Kimara because we were in LA to pick up the pole and we hadn't been able to line anyone else up that month.

@PaytonPlays – You might be surprised to learn that the only sponsor we have ever had for an event was New York Pole Dance who allowed us to use their studio for a Pole Jam during USPDF.  Other than that everything we have done has been self funded.

X-Pole has never, ever, ever sponsored us in anything nor has anyone else.  We have worked very hard to establish Studio Veena as a company that stands on its own reputation and strength before lending or borrowing strength through partnerships with others.

We are almost four years old and just recently started reaching out looking for partners who share our positive goals and ideals.

@LizzyLiz810 – We allowed you to post a link to your review in the forum.

As to whether it was a review or not, that is our judgement call.  Since then we have been much more liberal in our evaluation but if this is going to come back to haunt us in this way it will be much better for us to pull all similiar videos including your demonstration of the SSA's "stability".

As to the term kick back I believe that Empy has quite properly defined the difference between kickback and commission.

@LizzyLis810 – Your video was removed as are all product reviews.

Your thread was not repositioned by anything but the rapid movement of the forum.  The most recently posted thread is always on top.  Just look at how many posts have occurred here in the 1 hour and 52 minutes this thread has been open.

Regardless of the content of Platinum Stages response on the thread, it was posted in direct disregard to my request.  I have met Erica, she is a super sweet girl, I like her. That being said, I will not tolerate disregard for my attempts to moderate a forum back on topic.  She would have been more than welcome to create another thread regarding their poles to explain their position.  If my children disregard a request they get a timeout.

@PaytonPlays – You are 100% incorrect in your assertions.  Product sales for poles and clothing account for so little of our income that it is inconsequential.  Most people spend more on lunch in a month than we make on product sales from poles and clothing.

Does Veena Love her Titanium Gold X-Pole? Yes she does.  Is she paid to love it? No she isn't. Is she paid to talk about? Not even a tiny bit.  She loves it because it works for her.

As to your admonitions of shame for unfair representation, I am unsure why you would scold us.  We tried to sell Both Platinum Stages and X-Pole when we first built the site.  In 2008 X-Pole responded immediately with the paperwork and proposal neccessary for our resale agreement with them while Platinum Stages took weeks to call us back and then never replied to a second message left on their answering machine.  As to the general admonitions in the forum, opinions are 100% the responsibility of the poster, we do not post nor do we moderate in any fashion to create product bias.

The earlier thread that you refered to was closed after I was blatantly ignored in my request for the thread to be brought back on topic.  Not only was I ignored, I was ignored by a stated leader in the pole dance community.

@Platinum Stages – Frankly I expect more from a leader in the pole community.  You have shown our members and us no respect by further posting along a line of discussion I had asked to be ceased.  Only children seek the last word on an issue, grown-ups understand that a well reasoned argument stands on its own.

    ———-

@All – I apologize for what this thread has descended into and the spam it may have caused in your inbox.  This thread will be locked after this post and I hope that someone will start a new thread discussing the 40mm X-Pole.  I would also encourage anyone who'd like to discuss the various properties of brass, brass's effect on pole dancing or any aspect of pole quality to please dig up one of the many threads about these topics or start a new one.

@nymphdancer – I would not suggest getting HughesNET as I have had experience with them and while they advertise connection rates that look fast their latency actually reduces overall internet speeds to that of dial up in most cases.

I empathize with you, we live in the country as well and broadband Internet is not cheap, and the dial-up internet is nearly intolerable as far as speed.  Please don't assert however that superfast internet is required as it confuses potential users.

@nymphdancer – That is incorrect if your internet connection can maintain a constant connection speed of 1Mbps or higher you can watch the videos just fine.  This is not a super-fast connection and for the purposes of broadband saturation reports is not usually even considered "broadband" internet any more.
