A pole studio owner offered me that "opporturnity" –I was like, if I want to build a practice, I can do that out of my OWN STUDIO! lol You're doing the labor and building their business aka "good will"
completely unfair- it was PureDelish in Culver City-no thank you… that's work and it takes money out of your pocket instead of putting it in!

I think they all burn at first, it's the nature of the beast! It's amazing how the body acclimates to the burns, bruises and abrasians. When I first started poling I would get bruised on the inside of my legs and arms. Other dancers who had been poling longer would nod their head and say "workin on a new trick huh?" I would nod back, a little embarrassed. I think the worst was Yogin. I was black under my arm. The other was knee hold. I was afraid to go to court bc I looked like a battered woman! lol. Now, I only bruise very rarely when working on a new trick, however, I do have this odd rash on my shoulder from SM. I use special cream on it and sometimes I wake up at night just scratching the heck out of it (the good kinda scratch, like poison oak–it feels so good but it damages the skin with red marks). The cream seems to be working, so even though I usually stay away from creams in order to not get it on the pole, I have started moisterizing at night with really good product.https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Mine is stainless steel I got it from a girl on Veena's website-it's a 45 mm, I love it-it's a 45, so now I have a 45 and a 50 x-pole..the new one was less than $375, contact me privately if you want me to give you her name. xo.

I just took my platunum stages pole down after 2 and a half years to replace it with an x-pole. The grip is like comparing an apple to an orange! I love the new pole!

It does have a good vibe, I saved it to my favorites so next time I post I'll use it!

I live in LA, so next time I'm with my niece we'll go driving around and she'll shoot some! Love the street sign idea just don't want anyone calling the cops on me lol prolly head out to the San Fernando Valley that's where "black and yellow" was shot. I'll post some soon~!

this is such a cute idea! I did a little poling while visiting Monte Carlo in August, but it was so limited bc it was on a kid's playground. Going to look for some poles in my neighborhood and take some shots! New Project! lol

I didn’t see the show so I didn’t know the damages. Now that I know more about the facts that figure makes sense. Anyway, I didn’t mean to start an argument on this forum (I’m an attorney myself, I do enough of that at court!) https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Good for him that he recovered a decent settlement from the establishment where it took place. And I just joined this forum 1 month ago, so I just saw this post. It was so mundane to the other lawyers where I work, no one even mentioned it. I guess there are a lot more things happening in the news now, like the election for example, the miners in Chile, the economy….and I never used the word "frivolous"! I just heard that a man in a go-go bar was hit in the eye with a shoe when the news first broke, I didn’t know the full extent of his injuries, I don’t watch Rachel Rey-she’s a chef turned talk show host! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_chef.gif

Welcome to Studio Veena! I just joined too. Maybe you can order it on-line from Sport Chalet? I heard they sell them. When I have time I am going to physically walk into the store and ask them. So far, I have found "firm grip" there (the best), in the baseball section. It sells for 7 bucks a spray can. When I purchased it from firm grip on-line, it was $15! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif signed, whatup aka polegalore.com
