LOL. Well I haven't exactly named it, other than an ongoing commentary about it not being Hitch Pole. In my mind, Hitch Pole has a whole life going on that, to me anyway, is hilarious. My pole is NOT Hitch Pole. My pole doesn't leave out the back door, ask for money for the dry cleaning, need change for a taxi, etc. For those of you who don't know what Hitch Pole is, I've attached a link so you can all get the same giggles and fits of laughter I did.

EVamp – yeah she rocks! I've been using her tutorials to stretch out for splits. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Is Stephane Vera sapphirecatzeye? If so, she has a few tutorials online at youtube. I've pasted the link to one of her introductory stretching tutorials. Hope that helps.

yay sounds awesome! Here's a quick question: does it have to be the short theme song itself, or can it be the song that the theme song is based on? I know a lot of t.v. themes have a longer song to it. Just want to confirm that before I start working out moves. Sweet, my first challenge!

Tarah, I'll be watching for the answer also! I miss my faves!

Excellent layout, definitely more user friendly. I especially like the layout of the various lessons sections, as you can get to each lesson without having to scroll through the tool bar each time. Kudos and Happy New Year!

Just when you think pole dancers could garner respect and credibility…a jealous group of harpies refer to a fellow school as a stripper college. Sadly, if cattiness like that is the norm in the pole community, they will do just as much to harm to poling as people who think anyone who climbs a pole is willing to take it off for a few dollars. What a couple of a$$hats. Sorry Jayjay, that really bites. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif Karma is a lovely thing though…

Wow that’s fantastic and looks so fun! I suspect they didn’t even think it was naughty, just lots of giggles. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Agree with Loopy, craigslist is a great place to look. That’s where I got my pole! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Thanks everyone, these are all really good tips. Hopefully at least one of them will work. Much appreciated!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Hi Andrea,
I remember Germany. I remember it being COLD! Hah. I’m a 39 year old also, in Florida. I’m still muddling through beginner moves so I can build my strength. Right now, I’ve managed a half-arse pole climb and a pole sit. Highly recommend Veena’s lessons if you are looking for starting points. They’ve helped me and I’m excited as I slowly build the strength to start on spins.
Good luck and stay toasty! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

Welcome Liz! I’m fairly new as well (3 weeks now) and just got a pole couple of weeks ago (weee!). In Jacksonville, starting to get COLD! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rendeer.gif
