Need your opinion 😀for poling, i want shorts that cover the butt from behind (so that when i show my videos to people, they can see that im wearing shorts, not underwear) , but have no material running down the inside of thighs (so kind of like underwear, to help with the grip).
hope this helps https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

lol best thread ever, couldn’t agree with everyone more!! here’s my lil contribution:
You know you’re a pole dancer when:
-you get strange looks from people in the library & in your university classes as to why you’re watching "strippers" on your laptop
-you use your old clothes as wiping towels? (or is that just me? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif lol)

I actually laughed out loud when I read a few people’s comments saying that he should have done it "without the pole". lmao!!! they totally missed the point didn’t they… isn’t that like telling someone to play soccer without a ball? haha…
and it’s really sad how shallow & narrow minded many people are…
ps- i liked your vid! i duno how i missed this thread all this time…

MemberSeptember 5, 2009 at 1:03 am in reply to: Help. Any difficulty going from 50mm to smaller poles??I’ve never touched titanium but I’ve heard it’s similar to brass, which I tried & hated- tooo grippy & hard to spin smoothly! & gave my hands lots of blisters. But I looovveee my chrome x-pole, it felt perfect from the first day!
I haven’t started inverting yet though, so who knows a grippier pole might be better for that.
I think it really depends on body type though, how much your hands sweat, etc.Have you ever tried Titanium or are you just experimenting?
PS- i’m surprised you don’t have your vids up here, your vids are awesome, I subscribed to you on youtube https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

lol don’t worry Jungle, hopefully soon enough pole dancing will become soooo popular that they’ll even have full separate male classes https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
Personally the idea of having a male in a pole dancing class would make me a bit uncomfortable, not even just cause of the pervert thing, but also because as a true beginner, I feel like everything I do right now looks stupid and I’d rather not do it in front of anyone (that’s why i practice at home) but at least it’s better when it’s in front of other women who are in the same boat as you. Obviously men are stronger and they will catch on to certain things a lot faster than women, right? So I think as with ANY sport, I feel that a gender separation is kinda required. Another thing to remember, is that not all women who take pole classes look like supermodels, and you know how MOST women are somewhat insecure about their flaws, and I think having males in the class would just be a distraction in that sense, so that they wouldn’t be as comfortable wearing certain workout clothes or doing certain moves.
just my 2 cents https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_compress.gif

welcome to the site, you’ll love it.

Hey, I don’t know if this has been done/mentioned before, but how bout a blind-folded pole dance challenge?
I’ve already seen some people do that (but not on this site) and I think it’d be cool if everyone gave it a shot!
Just an opinion.. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif -
Personally, I think a small, standard size limited space for a signature might be cool, but one thing I like about this site & its forums is that it’s kind of "clean", if that makes any sense. Don’t know how else to put it, but I love how, unlike other sites, you don’t get bombarded by big images, ads, signatures, irrelevant graphics, etc, and can just get straight to reading the good stuff. Like they say KISS >> Keep It Simple Stupid! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif
i dunno that’s just my personal preference, i’m sure everyone’s different.

Hey, I have a little trick up my sleeve! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif
Show them a MAN pole dancing, that way they become more familiar with the idea of it as a sport, rather than a sexual thing.
Here’s two vids of men in pole fitness studios, hope this helps! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif
