    I've had a pole for one week and am having the same issue.  I've practiced only three times now and I'm catching on to the intermediate spins really easily.  Climbs are a bit more difficult.  It's extremely difficult to use my thighs to grip as there is NO support.  I'm sure I just need more practice practice practice…and to learn better technique.  I need to build more muscle, for sure.
