Not a fan of them. If you are curvy or have big boobs this won’t work. Most of my girls and I have found that it does have enough fabric to move around. I’m a 36d and the bra barely covered my boobs. Too expensive to keep trying to find the right fit.

I teach PST in Chicago. I’m the 1st to teach here. 😉 I love it and there are so many things you can do with it. I’ve posted a few on my Instagram. But if you need help I’ll be glad to post videos. Look for @LifeOfAPoleTrick

I have huge stage fright and still do!! But the only way you’ll get over it is to perform. The best thing I did was perform to events so that if I mess up it’s not a big deal. The other best thing was doing a performance with other people first. This helped me get use to the audience, the lights and having to perform.
Don’t drop out. If you do, you’ll never get over it. Trust me that your routine will go faster then that stomach pain will start. Before you know it… you’re done. I had a trick I wanted to do for my competition. But I fell out of it and even got tangled up. I created a backup just incase hoping not used it. But I practiced for hours and hours so I can feel more comfortable. Keep practicing. Even if it’s low it still practicing.
Another thing… record yourself. You would be amazing that all your fears make you think it looks bad. But it doesn’t! I was very surprise at mine and people didn’t even know how scared I was. LOL Hope this helps.=)

I started teaching using FabPole. It is a lot easier to set up especially if you need to put them up and down for class. Plus doesn’t matter the size of poles. But I do have Sikkii and PoleSilks. I use them on my XPole stage. They are really sturdy and you don’t have to adjust them all the time. Although you should always test all of these after a class. 😉

I teach on permanent mount, tension mount, and XPole stage and have not had any issues. Of course there ARE certain tricks you should avoid depending on which you are using.

Hi Mechie! I have it for a single Lyra. Never tried it on a double but I don’t see why not. Except you’ll have to play attention since one side will have more weight so the Lyra might shift is the only thing I can think of. Or place it in the middle of both hoops and you’ll be fine.

For other girls wondering… Ok I’m a bit bigger 36d and the large are way too small. My boobs came out. And the shorts are too small and waist too big. Bought a top and shorts and only used it once. 🙁 I’ve heard this from other girls my size as well.

Yeah I wouldn’t recommend removing the plates. That’s dangerous in that if you land a certain way you my hit yourself pretty bad. Plus sometimes the legs will move if it’s in an unstable platform. The plates keep everything together. Hopefully someone will find or make something lighter 🙂

I feel you on this one!! I have to carry this up 4 flights of stairs!! My back kills me after 8 times of up and down. I started looking at other options like the RPole but found out it cost $1400 w shipping. More then my rent!!! If I was able to afford it I would. I do wish there were other option that were less heavy.

PoleKat- you’re so funny!! I decided not to buy the hoop on the physical Lyra because of the height I have to work with. But when I get higher ceilings I will. 😉
I did buy the foot/hand loop instead. That way I can take it off when I want but can do similar trips.
