Don’t forget your powers and as for the “boys club” Double power to you.
I don’t think all the women who feel “jealous” are worried about their men. I think they are threatened by something that you have and they don’t know or can’t.
Im a strong believer in revamping those powers in women , help them to realize their potential and build them up to be powerful asa much as men are.
Men where not the reason I got into this sport. The power of women, beautiful artful performances, grace of their bodies and ability to control the audience physically and emotionally.
Believe me every woman who is giving you those long sided dirty glances deep down wants it even if she is of age 60+.

I tried Sweet and Spicy workout last nite.
It is a very intense cardio yoga style with additional buti dance moves. Long and enduring.
But it didn’t send me into wow state. Some of the poses require to go deeper into a pose to get all benefit but in this style she rushes thru them and I don’t think I need more then 20 minutes of cardio. And I do buti enough in a separate class.
So really I will take some of the moves for my warm up and supplement my yoga routine pre and post but my regular poses need time to be in a “state of bliss” especially elite ones. I tried to go into my handstands after buti work out and it was difficult. Never mind trying for scorpio was frustrating. as after ashtanga or bikhram your body is more conducive for those moves. I guess it’s a different rhythm and balance.
It is probably good for weight loss and it is very main stream, nothing is difficult, very adaptable

Thank you Greyeyes booking my appointment for MAT next week.
Thank you Lucca for sooooo much info
I looked into ART and found out that my sports medicine Dr. practices together with one in the same clinic. I will book an appointment with her too.
But the direction of treatment should be geared towards active sports specialists who understand the mechanics and demand of the body’s needs under more then usual strain.
When I was the other day at chiro’s office explaining my injury he compared with the injury mother’s get by lifting a baby from the carriage and Im sitting there and thinking: Should I start caring my pole to these appointments for people to understand?

No they are just ignorant. And that is why we are there to educate them.
When I was staying at the resort I was in a gym twice a day and there was yoga class and I always would join it. the instructor who was teaching the class asked me about pole dancing in the club last nite but the way she asked was a little judgemental. So I explained to her how hard it is and that I do much more then yoga to be fit to do it. She thought that if you do yoga you can pretty much do anything on a pole. I suggested that she comes that nite and tries. So she did and was kinda frustrated not being able to get a grip and hold herself, never mind move. Mind you the pole there was kind of scary too, it was spinny 50 mm some “kind of steel”, super greasy, so I asked bartender for some gin and cleaned it then showed her some simple moves. She was so happy to learn, so appreciative and told her husband she’s gonna join pole dancing studio in her town when they will go back.
So may be try to win them, get them on your side.

Thank you but I dont think Feldenkrais technique is suitable for my case when I require from my muscle system more then usual output and endurance. MAT though is.
So, may be it’s worth to try it. At least I will be able to feel the difference and if not I won’t continue.

How this procedure exactly done? Is it device operated or man-powered technique?.
Im trying to get my initial appointment soon.
but Im scared about them not knowing how much resistance I can take. Do I need any X-rays from my MD which I already done just in case?
I also had an appointment with NUCCA specialist that works with misalignments in your body but he promised very slow recovery like years??? In a mean time Im going to sports chiro on Monday. It’s just so difficult to find a right type of treatment that will work. But I think it’s always healthier to stay with health professionals that work in sports field at least they can understand you better, others will see you as $$$$ target and immediately make you sicker then you are. Except of course your family physician.

Acetone does Not absorb into a skin as it is a very volatile substance just could trigger slight headache.
In fact we absorb much more acetone during the session of shellac manicure/pedicure thru our cuticles. Acetone is a naturally occurring substance in our body.
But I would only use it on chrome. I think its a good way to ruin brass or TG

    Greyeyes
I researched about MTA. It’s very expensive were Im. The initial appointment is $200 and then $135 after.
Can you share about the experience bc if I will decide to do it Im pretty sure it will be more then one session.
So, my problem is mid-back muscular weakness, exercise resistant. Something that out of my control. if I invert more then normal amount of times I have to take brake the next day, two, three… Now my recovery started to be even longer. Which is interferes with my schedule of planning things.
Im a little bit sad about it, in a mean time resting and trying to find a good solution.

Yes, thought of that as well, just trying to find out if anyone else was a pray to similar quackery in order to compare the experiences.

We have to agree that due to the popularity of pole and pole movement, there is new pole generation gymnasts across the world especially in Eastern and Western Europe are coming to a pole scene who are amazingly flexible and can do so much more then traditional pole practice offers. Also they probably will become future developers of styles and movement.
Concluding this, pole was already accepted as a variety of gymnastics sport in those countries, keeps growing and developing. Children of different ages demonstrate amazing ability to contort their bodies and balance their weight on a level of professional circus performers. There is already a strict code of ethics re: sexual aspect in place and it always observed at all pole gymnasts competitions.
(For example a competitor looses points for a bra strap falling of the shoulder or any other inappropriate mishaps of a sexual character in their clothing or behaviour). Pole fitness as a sport is already departing from pole dance. There are thee categories of pole sport: areal, semi-arial, and floor or strip-plastica. The way the European Pole Federation sees it, it has to be able to depart from clubs to became an Olympic sport. Also there will be age division due to a new children’s involvement in this sport. And also, there are a lot of amazingly fit women of a mature age.
Having said that, I think we are yet to see how Pole evolves and changes the sport world

May 22, 2015 at 6:18 pm in reply to: Eat this not that

I feel up very quickly so try to avoid feeling too full and make sure that all my portions are high in good calories but dense that I can handle them in a smallest volume possible. I usually choose quality meats and fish fresh, cook them immediately and follow density rule for my greens (mainly it’s herbs arugula, parsley, dill, chicory, whatever looks fresh to me) Use plenty, thinly chopped with good amount of quality oil and balsamic vinegar. Oils have to be kept in a fridge (rancidity could be the cause of cancer). Never combine meats or fish with a different source of protein. This is my key not to impede nutritional absorption. So your body has a chance to deal with one kind of protein at a time that complex in it’s own. So leave mushrooms, cheese or seeds for another combination.
You can eat any grains in small amount as long as they are not processed. But qiunoa pasta GF is out of question. Good source but it still processed. There many health food products on a market incl. organic, raw and all of that, I don’t buy at all. Because all this goodness is processed. And I know too well what takes to put Organic Spinach Risotto into production. A lot of ingredients we don’t see on the label. But the products have to withstand quality standards. Sorry can’t support that.
I do drink a big deal of various teas but it’s my ritual and I would never cut on caffeine this way. When tea is from a right source and prepared in a right way, also consumed within a right time it provides medical benefit to your health

Veena I usually warm up and stretch for 45 min before privates bc it’s $70-90 per session in my area so I don’t want to waste time. If there is a special warm up for the move required I will ask before hand. But yes I want to benefit from it bc I’m paying.
    Pam
What I’m trying to say here, when I pick someone to couch me I already studied under them, also I’ve seen them perform and I know what to expect or hope to get.
I came to this wonderful site because of injury and when I signed for Veena’s lessons I knew why it happened. I was able to reassess all my moves and reteach myself here and I’m not leaving this site no matter who I will train with. Everything I do with them I recheck here. I always get it better after I listen to a lesson and do all Veena’s requirements for the move. Hands on with instructor is a very valuable time because they are right there beside you and they know how to help you but Veena’s info is so irreplaceable in terms of being properly educated what does it take to perform the move, is your body ready for it. And this saves you money and time and not to forget to mention injuries. I don’t trust instructors as much as I trust my body and the knowledge I was able to gather here from Veena’s conditioning and lessons.
So you have lessons and know now how to compare
