This one requires a great deal of flexibility and skill. You must be able to perform a shoulder roll. I’ll break down how to put everything together into a smooth transition off the chair. Keep in mind if the splits are not an option simply keep one leg bent. Keep in mind the spine will contact the chair but it should not press so much it hurts too much to continue the move.

Responses

  1. I’m in the process of looking for a chair. I’m short I’m 4’11, so what should I be looking for measurement wise to make sure that I can do these cool moves? Gorgeous moves I must say.

  2. Leg length and torso length varies between people and those factors often dictate whether a move is comfortable for someone. In general I’d say if you can stand on tippy toe and fold over the chair without smashing your hips or belly it’s a good fit for most moves. There are some smaller metal chair but just make sure they are STURDY!!!!
