WARM UP – Length 10:00 – Items needed: Light resistance band

This warm up was designed to be used before performing this includes those who work in clubs or as go go dancers before you go on for a set. You’ll warm and lengthen all the major muscle groups helping prepare the body for movement, preventing injuries that are common to performers.

I designed this to be an effective warm up without using too much energy, leaving you hyped and ready for the show.

Tips to help you get the most out of this warm up:

  • Always watch the related videos listed before doing any workouts or routines. This will insure you’re familiar with each of the exercises used in the routine.
  • If it’s cold in your pole space or you still feel cold after finishing, feel free to run through it again.
  • This warm up is suitable for those who are new to pole.
  • Make sure you’ve been cleared by your health professional before starting any exercise programs.
  • Pay attention to the mental cues that can help you focus on doing your very best.
  • Be sure to dress in layers.

  1. Used this today as a warmup. This was so fun. Especially the part where you do butterfly wiggles and “silly” hands 😀 Maybe give a try yourself on your next back to pole day. It might be fun 😉
