  1. Veena, I just watch these videos and think about how much you are changing women’s and men’s lives. really. you have have taken all your talents and knowledge and created a place where people can get the tools to make their dreams come true. I just hope you know this! what you are doing is really so much bigger than pole dancing. this site has helped me to change my life! thank you! it’s weird , but that’s what I was thinking as I was watching this video! haha! <3

  2. Hi Veena! I was trying to do middle splits exactly how you said not to previously with knees pointing up. I can’t seem to rotate from the hips properly. My knees can’t seem to point straight out to the sides even if I’m standing with my legs say just over hip width apart. Is this normal? Is it something that can be worked on? My turn out seems terrible and I don’t know if this is what has been getting in the way of my middle split progress.

  3. It’s not uncommon for some to not be able to rotate from the hips, I think I mention in the video that this split with knees up may not feel good to some, but for others the rotation will help them achieve middle split. If you have poor turn out then yes, hip rotation to turn the knees up will be impossible. It’s ok to work on middles with knees forward, just be aware that you’re not placing too much stress on the knees. Using the lower body strength routine and the middle splits routine will help. Just remember not everyone needs to have a middle split, all of our bodies are different so for some middles put their bodies at risk. 🙂

  4. I love this! Do you have one for front splits, too? I’m having an immense amount of difficulty keeping my hips squared. They always seem to want to open the closer I get to the ground.
