FREE Beginner Side Pole Hold Grips
In this video I’ll demonstrate beginner Side Pole Hold Grip! Please understand this is a demo, I do not suggest you try this if you’re new to pole dance. This is a grip we’ll work up to when you follow my beginner programs, like the 30 day take off or when you work through the beginner tutorials. This grip might take someone a few pole sessions, a month or more to achieve. There is no timeline you must adhere to when it comes to progressing in pole dance.
The key to the Side pole hold, sometimes called Strong hold, is utilizing the armpit along with the hands. Adding the aid of the armpit takes some of the strain off of the back and biceps. We use the Side pole hold for beginner through advanced pole work. It’s my favorite grip for teaching Inverts.
Hi. I been going through different courses you have. I would like to ask you what is the Main difference between “pole beginner” and “beginner level1”? I am a rather non trained person Who starts her Journey after many years of sitting by the desk and i thought about starting my pole adventure by combining 30 days off + No pole beginner + some conditioning Lessons.. You think Its a good idea? Which “pole beginner” should i rather choose?
The 30 day take off is the best one to start with. It has rest days and will gradually help you ease into working out again.
Okay. I did the 30 day take off program and felt like I was in pretty decent shape afterwards. Now I’m seeing that actual pole work is freaking hard!! If I were to just practice these grips over and over until I get them pretty solid, what frequency would you recommend? I’m willing to spend an hour spread out through the day, is that too much or pretty standard?
Have you started the Beginner level 1 program? I would do that first.
