Middle splits stretch:
Muscles Lengthened: ADDUCTORS (GROIN AND INNER THIGHS)
I’m having trouble lately with this stretch. In my last job I was standing mostly during the day. This stretch was mostly pinchy for me but now I’m feeling no stretch when I do the butterfly. My knees are not on the ground, a good yogablock off the ground but when I sit in the butterfly it does not stretch anything. I have to push down very hard with my hands to feel a stretch. Also when I do the moving stretch I need a lot of force to push my legs down. Are there any variations to intense the stretch whitout pushing so much with hands?
Try the Frog stretch instead https://studioveena1.wpengine.com/lessons/view/629ba3ce-030c-4dde-9e43-0394ac110005
Ahh thanks. Didn’t know this is a similar stretch to butterfly. Will work with this.
Everything is in order and grouped together by muscles Targeted. You can also pick an alternative by looking at the description with lists the muscles used.
