There’s no need for sets and reps today. However, when working on the floor moves limit yourself to no more than 10 attempts. This will help prevent unnecessary bruising or soreness. Don’t forget to film your attempts so you can look back and see how you’re improving.

Here is the list of links for the related tutorials.

  1. man all the exotic practice i’ve been doin has done a number on my low back. sucks to have it arched. any suggestions for a good stretch? how have you learned to cope with the pain to your low back from arching

  2. Arching should start from the upper spine (chest up first) and move down. It should not begin with the lower half. Even if you understand that concept sore muscles happen when you start doing a movement you’re not use to. As you become stronger and more accustom to the movement it will stop becoming sore. Reverse bridge https://studioveena1.wpengine.com/lessons/view/4dee2b60-a974-4aab-9feb-5d480ac37250 and knee tuck https://studioveena1.wpengine.com/lessons/view/4ddfb933-22f0-4762-b396-642a0ac37250 are nice stretches.

  3. When I’m trying to do the tush push, even in the easy position, my triceps apparently aren’t strong enough haha. Really feeling it in my triceps. Any exercise suggestions to strengthen my triceps so I can push myself up? Thx!

  4. I’m feeling kind of awkward and stupid when I’m trying to look or feel sexy 😅 Feeling more connected to my feminine and sexy side is one of the reasons I want to start pole dancing. (At the moment I feel like the best thing about myself is my babygirl and that I’m having the same amount of charisma as a dead fish) So I hope that with more practice I’ll become better and get used to it.

  5. Try recording yourself but with out the intention of sharing with anyone. While dancing think about dancers or people you think move in a sexy way. Try to mimic them. See how it goes. 😁

  6. Morning, Veena! The floor moves are definitely challenging for me at this point because I have very little core strength. With the Tush Push, I could even feel how tight the inner area of my hips were and how they need strengthened. For the Sexy Layback, I can only pretty much arch in place right now, and for the Booty Scoot, my legs can’t go very high. I can at least scoot, so that’s a win. As far as the Leg Show, WOW. I can’t get my legs up unless I’m laying completely flat on my back. In that position, I’m able to move my legs back and forth slightly. I’ve got lots of strengthening and toning to do! Glad I’m here. I know I won’t stay this de-conditioned forever ☺️.

  7. Floor work is hard!!! I think people don’t believe me when I tell them to do floor work to train and condition at home. I’m happy you’re tracking progress! You’ve got this!
