Today you’ll work on exercises for the lower body and then play around with a few half spins, which will help you prepare to lift both feet off the ground for full spins. Tomorrow you’ll try your first choreographed pole dance routine! I’m sharing the Dragonfruit Dancing routine today because watching the day before you give it a go will help your brain feel more prepared because there won’t be any surprises.

Pro tip: From now on you’ll be introduced to more and more challenging skills, which is usually exciting and fun. However, it’s also common for people to begin feeling like they should achieve a trick the same day they first learned about it, and when it doesn’t happen you might feel a bit panicked or defeated. If you’re having a hard time enjoying the learning process, you might enjoy my RANT about “struggling to achieve a pole trick” to help put things into perspective.

Allow the videos to play in order and follow along. Feel free to pause anytime you need to.

        1. I took a look at the videos. I think you’re being too hard on yourself.. to me it looks like somebody who’s just learning this skill! From what I see you do understand there’s just one tweak you should make.

Right now you’re facing the pole you need to turn so that the Pole is to your side, not in front of you.

        2. PS just because something looks easy doesn’t mean it is. I’ve been doing this for years of course it looks like an easy thing it’s not. πŸ’œ however, this fact is a reason why pole dance is so good for us it also challenges our brain!

          1. Thank you for this Veena, πŸ™‚ I appreciate the reminder of your skill level. It’s easy to get discouraged but there’s no point in trying to rush things with pole

  1. Day 29 done πŸ‘βœ…
Loved the pole strength routine 😍 sexy walk πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ my figure 8 drags and cross overs look or feel very similar apart from doing the cross overs backwards loving the rest, I just love it all thank you Veena πŸ’•

  2. Made it to day 29 but ended up taking a month off due to schooling, so sad! I’m going to focus on full body pole strength routine and stretches throughout the week and see if I can finish the last two days next week.

  3. Almost done with this program. I have built so much strength since day 1… wow🀯 at first I couldn’t even hold the pole in my hand for too long because my grip was so weak and now I can hold myself up for a couple of seconds confidently without grip aid. Thank youu for such an amazing journey, looking forward to doing the other programs as well🌸

PS: what heels would you recommend for a begginer without breaking the bank?

    1. Yay!!!! That’s awesome progress, you put in the work for sure!

As far as heels, if you really wanna save and have the chance to try them on, go to a thrift shop or second hand store. If there are any near by strip clubs, you’ll have an even higher chance of seeing heels. I love going to thrift stores and I often see heels there. If you go and have questions feel free to take a photo and ask me about them, I can try to help. Another option is facebook has a few pole item swap or sell groups. I don’t really use FB but it’s an option.

I mostly have pleasers and always buy the clearance ones! I love a deal.
