How to cover and decorate your heels (FREE)

The self adhesive will leave a residue so don’t use this method on heels you want to use again without the paper! The key is use small strips and angled pieces for the sides.

You can buy all of the items (not the heels) at JoAnn Fabrics, Hobby Lobby or online. Wal-Mart also has some fun things you could use. The paper I used was Scrap-booking paper.

Here are the items you’ll need for this project.

• Heels
• Exacto knife or scissors
• A ruler
• A cutting mat
• Self-adhesive craft or scrapbook paper

This is not meant to be permanent, it will start to peel off and wear fairly easily. Its best to use this technique for photos, one time performances or things of that nature.

If you wanted to make it last I would try using a spray Lacquer. I have not tried the lacquer. The cleaner the heel and your hands are, the longer the paper will stick.
