SPINNING POLE INTERMEDIATE: This is a forward spinning prep for inverting, this is an older video and you’ll now learn these skill in my Chopper V invert, tutorial too. A strong side pole hold is necessary for this prep and you can add these into your conditioning or strength days. If tucking is too challenging stay with straight legs until strength is gained and do not arch the low back while holding keep the abs tight!

  1. Yeah! This is such a good one. I drilled this all the time when I started spin pole and one day the invert just happened! Your form is far better than mine though, this makes me want to go back and work on them. Nice lesson!

  2. This is perfect, Veena. Thanks! Does your chopper invert just come directly from the tuck as the next progression in this move…? I always wondered how you know when you’re strong enough to start attempting it, but I see that I can’t yet hold the strong spinning side hold and tuck, so I probably need to keep building up! It was never so clear to me as it is from watching this!

  3. Hi Veena! I’ve been incorporating knee tucks into my warm ups and I’ve definitely noticed a lot of improvement. I have a question though, are knee tucks basically the same as the side pole hold exercises, except for your feet not touching the ground?
